Cocobolo rosewood from which these
humidors are made ranges from a rich dark brick red to reddish or
dark brown, with a figuring of darker irregular traces weaving
through the wood. Cocobolo has a density of 70 pounds per square
foot and is considered to be one of the most beautifully exotic
woods available.
This lift-top model has an inset lid panel made of
Spanish cedar to match the cedar lining. It is made
with a full-length wood piano hinge with a brass rod
inside, machine screws and specially formulated
epoxy. The humidifier slides into a Cocobolo slatted
casing inside the lid top.
